This garden design project aims to create a low-maintenance, year-round outdoor space with a modern and stylish touch. We focused on blending aesthetics with functionality, using symmetry, effective lighting, and clearly defined social areas.
The garden features a cosy dining area right next to the main building, complete with warm tiles and surrounded by fragrant lavender, santolina, and ginkgo trees. This spot is enhanced with a BBQ area and a shaded balcony covered in clematis vines, perfect for family meals.
Nearby, a hot tub deck offers a private retreat, surrounded by lush greenery and a charming gazebo. Softly lit stepping tiles guide you to this peaceful space, providing a smooth transition from the dining area.
A striking metal arch serves as a gateway to the main garden, adding a dramatic touch and creating a seamless shift from the intimate dining space to the open garden. The main garden features smooth curves and a central water feature surrounded by vibrant plantings, creating a calming focal point.
In the Zen corner, metal ring planters with perennials and evergreens are set against a backdrop of ginkgo trees and pebbles, offering a serene escape. A contemporary timber pergola, lit by festoon lights, serves as a primary social area, with comfy sun lounges nearby for relaxation. A trampoline has also been included for family fun, allowing parents to keep an eye on the kids while enjoying the garden.
