How it started
Ricky, our founder and director, started out on the tools in 2008. He spent years building gardens before going on to study at the British Academy of Garden Design. That background shapes how Pride works today.
The design process is grounded in a real understanding of how gardens are built, which means fewer surprises during construction and better decisions at the design stage.
It also means we focus on how a garden is actually used, not just how it looks on paper. Spaces that work day to day, through every season, and for years to come.
The Team
We run two close-knit build teams, and the people leading them have grown up within the business. Several started with us as labourers and have progressed to team leader over time

We don’t use subcontractors for the build. The work on your project is carried out by our own team throughout.
