Our client wanted to turn their underused garden into a beautiful, low-maintenance space they could enjoy year-round. Inspired by a modern Mediterranean vibe, we designed a garden that balances style and practicality. From relaxing corners to social areas, every part of the garden was crafted to be both functional and visually stunning. The result is a versatile outdoor retreat perfect for everything from quiet moments to lively gatherings.
In this project, we took a neglected backyard and turned it into a gorgeous, low-maintenance space with a modern Mediterranean vibe. Our aim was to create a garden that’s perfect for enjoying all year round, featuring evergreen plants, flexible lighting, and social areas that flow naturally from one to the next.
We transformed a forgotten corner of the balcony into a cosy patio, complete with a round water feature, a charming wooden pergola, and vibrant greenery. This spot is ideal for unwinding during the day, and when the sun sets, festoon lights turn it into a warm hangout for the evening. A stylish staircase leads down from this area and connects you to the next part of the garden while adding a nice architectural touch.
At the heart of the garden, you’ll find a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven, BBQ, and kitchen island, all shaded by a sleek pergola that extends over a spacious seating area. This setup is perfect for hosting friends and family, with a fire pit and soft lighting making it an inviting space for everyone.
Just nearby, sun loungers on a porcelain patio provide a peaceful spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the garden’s beauty. Next to this, a luxurious family pool blends in beautifully with the rest of the design.
To explore the second part of the garden, a winding cobbled path invites you to discover a wood-fired hot tub nestled amongst the evergreens – a perfect little retreat for relaxation. For the kids, we’ve created a fun play area with a trampoline, a sand pit, a slide, and swings. This garden now offers a versatile outdoor space that balances style and practicality, giving the family a beautiful place to relax and have fun all year long.
