Modern Pond Garden Grimsby

This garden in Grimsby was a complete blank canvas. Our clients had lived in the house for over ten years, and the garden was the final piece of the puzzle. They wanted a space that felt calm and restful, with a modern pond as a key feature.

The original garden lacked purpose. It had a patch of lawn and lots of bushes, which made the space feel smaller and meant it was underused. We stripped things back and started again. Clear zones and a pared back palette of materials made the garden feel more open and better connected.

A linear, modern pond now sits just off the sandstone patio. It’s a peaceful spot for a morning coffee, with the gentle sound of flowing water. From the house, your eye is naturally drawn towards the water, creating a stronger connection between inside and out.
