Love Island Inspired Garden Washingborough

This Love Island inspired garden in Washingborough was designed with entertaining in mind. Our client wanted a low maintenance space that still felt special. Somewhere to host friends, enjoy long evenings outdoors and use the garden throughout the year.

The layout was key. We kept things clear and purposeful, using a small number of strong features to shape how the garden is used. Each area has its own role, but the space still feels connected.

A key feature of the garden is the water feature with oversized floating steps. It doubles as a walkway, leading you from the dining terrace, across the water and through to different parts of the garden. It brings gentle movement and sound, and helps create a natural flow between the social spaces.

A light-filled gazebo sits alongside this area, surrounded by raised planting beds. It works as a relaxed dining and lounge space. Festoon lighting makes it easy to use well into the evening. Elsewhere, a fire pit offers a more informal place to gather. The hot tub and outdoor shower sit separately, giving a bit more privacy.

Planting was kept layered and considered. Mediterranean-style plants, evergreen structure and flowering climbers add colour and interest through the year. Simple details bring warmth, without adding extra upkeep.

The result is a Love Island inspired garden built for outdoor living. A sociable space that feels confident and well put together, and one that really comes into its own when shared.
